I still can’t believe that tomorrow I will be running THE London Marathon! I remember watching it on TV as a kid, I remember my very first run where I couldn’t even finish a mile, I remember not being able to walk up the stairs through sheer pain of such a short run! I remember the day I entered my very first race (off the back of a bet!), I remember my very first half marathon and thinking I’ll NEVER be able to run a full marathon and finally I remember the day I had the offer to run the London Marathon for The Riding For Disabled Association (RDA). An amazing cause that I’m so happy to have the opportunity to run for! It’s a charity a lot of people had never heard of but one that truly changes lives and I know every penny raised will have a significant impact! So THANK YOU again for your very kind donations (& for anyone still considering it you can find my Just Giving page here)
A HUGE thank you to all the Bracknell Forest running crew who put up with my constant talking on long training runs & all my friends, family and colleagues who have put up with my constant talking about this, everyone part of the RDA charity who have supported me along the way and of course every single one of you who very generously donated to a great cause! Here’s to tomorrow….! 🙂
P.s for anyone watching you can spot me wearing these…!
